JMSIT College Ghaziabad Celebrates Pharmacy Day, Highlights Pharmacists’ Role

Pharmacy Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and festive spirit at JMSIT College, Ghaziabad, where the Pharmacy Department organised a programme to highlight the growing importance of the pharmacy field and the role of pharmacists in society.

The event was held with the objective of making students aware of new developments and research taking place in the field of pharmacy. It also focused on the important contribution of pharmacists to public health and social welfare.

The programme was graced by the presence of the chief guest and Chairman of the institute, Shri Rakesh Singhal ji. Also present on the occasion were the institute’s General Secretary Dr. Himanshu Singhal, Executive Director Dr. A.K. Chauhan, Principal Dr. Praveen Gupta and Director Dr. Aniruddha Vishwas ji. The presence of all the guests added dignity to the event.

Addressing the students, Chairman Shri Rakesh Singhal ji spoke about the opportunities available in the field of pharmacy. He also underlined the important role played by pharmacists in the health and welfare of society. He encouraged the students to serve the country and society through their knowledge, skills and innovation.

During the programme, students of the Pharmacy Department took part enthusiastically in various academic, creative and cultural activities. These included rangoli and poster making, along with other activities organised as part of the celebration.

Through their participation, the students showcased their creativity, talent and knowledge related to pharmacy and the health sector. The activities also carried a message of health awareness and the social responsibility of pharmacists.

Students who performed excellently in different activities, as well as those who participated actively, were honoured with certificates and medals. After receiving the honours, enthusiasm and confidence were seen among the students.

On the occasion, office-bearers and teachers of the institute also motivated the students to keep learning continuously in the field of pharmacy. They encouraged them to take interest in new research and to understand their responsibilities towards society.

At the end of the programme, gratitude was expressed to all the guests, teachers and students. The Pharmacy Day celebration at JMSIT College, Ghaziabad, proved to be informative, inspiring and full of enthusiasm for the students.
