Husband arrested for murdering wife over domestic dispute in Auraiaya
Auraiaya police have arrested a husband for murdering his wife and recovered the weapon used in the crime.
Police arrested wanted accused Pramod Kumar, the husband, in the case of the murder of woman Rekha in Patti Gyani village under Bela police station area.
Pramod killed his wife on 4 September by pressing her throat, mouth and nose with a towel due to a domestic dispute and suspicion over his wife's character.
After committing the crime, the accused locked the body inside a room and fled from the spot.
Bela police, SOG and the surveillance team conducted a joint operation and arrested the accused on the night of 8 September from Bhadaura crossing near Tirwa Road border barrier.
Police have also recovered two towels on the identification by the accused.
The accused and the deceased were married in the year 2015 and they have three sons.
