BJP Leader Anil Sisodia Inaugurates Traditional Wrestling Bout at Hathras Fair

A traditional wrestling bout was organised in Aihan village in the Hathras development block area on the occasion of the historic Thakur Ji Maharaj fair. The event was inaugurated by Anil Sisodia, state co-media convener of the BJP Kisan Morcha, Uttar Pradesh.

Anil Sisodia inaugurated the wrestling competition by cutting a ribbon. He then brought the wrestlers into the arena and made them shake hands before the matches began. He also encouraged the participants during the event.

The wrestling bout in Aihan saw considerable enthusiasm among local residents and wrestling enthusiasts. Wrestlers entered the arena and displayed their strength, skill and traditional wrestling techniques. A large number of villagers and wrestling fans were present to watch the matches.

The audience applauded the wrestlers and encouraged them during their performances. The bouts drew attention as the participants demonstrated their skills in the traditional arena.

Speaking on the occasion, Anil Sisodia encouraged the wrestlers and highlighted the importance of traditional sports. Wrestling is an important part of Indian culture and the rural sporting tradition, he said. Such events give young people an opportunity to display their talent and also increase their interest in sports.

Naresh Pradhan, Vikas Paurush, Govind Chauhan and Gaurav Thakur were among the other dignitaries present at the programme.

The historic Thakur Ji Maharaj fair in Aihan village includes various religious, cultural and sporting programmes every year.
