Hathras Child Dies After Family Falls Ill Following Milk Consumption

A child died during treatment after drinking milk in the Khandarigarh area under the Hathras Gate police station limits in Hathras. The child’s father, Mohammad Danish, and his elder son fell seriously ill and have been referred to Aligarh Medical College for better treatment. Police are investigating the matter.

The incident involves three members of a family whose health deteriorated after they drank milk. According to the information available, the incident took place at around 10 pm. A woman named Kajal reportedly gave milk to her husband, Mohammad Danish, and their two children to drink.

Some time after drinking the milk, the health of three family members began to worsen. Their relatives immediately took them to a local hospital. They were later brought to Hathras District Hospital at around 1:30 am.

The younger child died during treatment at the district hospital. Mohammad Danish and his elder son were in serious condition. Doctors referred both of them to Aligarh Medical College for further treatment.

The family had reportedly come to live in a rented house in Khandarigarh around eight days ago. Local residents also shared some other information about the family. However, these details could not be independently confirmed.

After receiving information about the incident, police began an investigation. A police team reportedly reached the spot at around 4 am and collected the necessary evidence.

Information has also emerged that the woman was sent to Aligarh under police supervision. The available details do not establish the reason for her being sent there.

There has been no official confirmation so far about the presence of any poisonous substance in the milk. The cause of the incident has also not been officially confirmed.

Police are examining all aspects of the case. The actual reason behind the deterioration in the health of the family members is expected to become clear only after the investigation is completed.
