Hamirpur officials promise swift road repairs after protest by locals

Hamirpur: Following a protest by GEN Alpha at the district collectorate premises yesterday, the Hamirpur district administration has sprung into action. Senior officials visited Chandupur today to inspect the poor condition of the village road that had been at the center of the demonstration.

ADM Rakesh Kumar, SDM Abhishek Kumar, Mineral Officer Vikas Parmar, and officials from the PWD department assessed the situation, inspecting the unpaved road. During their visit, they interacted with local residents and assured them that the road construction work would begin soon.

ADM Rakesh Kumar stated that all potholes on the road would be filled immediately and that efforts to construct a proper road would be expedited. The officials emphasized that the administration is committed to resolving the issue at the earliest.

The protest, organized by GEN Alpha yesterday, had drawn attention to the poor state of the road leading to the local school. Protesters had demanded urgent action to ensure safe and accessible transportation for schoolchildren.
