Hamirpur Kansh Mela Security Reviewed, Extra Forces Deployed

In Hamirpur, the administration held a detailed security briefing for the Kansh Mela, with ADM Rakesh Kumar and ASP Arvind Verma leading the review.

The briefing took place at Pandav Guest House in Maudaha town of Hamirpur district. A meeting was held with the Traffic CO, SDM Maudaha and other police officials to discuss arrangements for the fair.

According to the briefing, the police have prepared a strategy to ensure that the Kansh Mela is conducted safely and smoothly. The entire mela area has been divided into different zones for better management and monitoring.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the historic Kansh Mela. In view of the expected crowd, police personnel will remain fully alert from the roads leading to the fair to the main mela site.

For security arrangements, forces from different police stations of the district have been deployed at the mela site. Additional police force has also been called from neighbouring districts. Women police personnel have been deployed to ensure the safety of women visitors.
