DIG Inspects Kansh Mela Site, Orders CCTV, Women Police Deployment

Officials in Hamirpur reviewed the preparations for the Kansh Mela in Maudaha, with a detailed inspection of the fair site and related arrangements.

DIG Chitrakootdham Banda Rajesh S. inspected the mela site and assessed the preparations being made for security, traffic management, parking and crowd control.

During the review, officials also took stock of cleanliness, drinking water and lighting arrangements at the venue.

DIG Rajesh S. issued instructions for special arrangements for the safety of women and children. He also directed the deployment of women police personnel, installation of CCTV cameras and proper barricading at the fair site.

Orders were also given to ensure smooth traffic movement through parking arrangements and diversions.

District Magistrate Ashok Kumar and Superintendent of Police Mrigank Shekhar Pathak were present during the inspection, along with the ASP, CO Maudaha, SDM and Station House Officer, Maudaha.
