Ghaziabad traffic police seizes 14 two-wheelers on Delhi-Meerut Expressway

Ghaziabad traffic police carried out a special intensive checking campaign on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway on 09 September 2026 under the skilled leadership and active presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Varun Kumar Singh. The drive was conducted with the objective of bringing about an effective reduction in road accidents and ensuring smooth and safe traffic management.

During this campaign run under the active supervision of ADCP Varun Kumar Singh, strict action was taken against prohibited vehicles plying on the expressway in violation of rules. A total of 14 two-wheelers were seized in the operation. The traffic police will continue this strict action against rule violators in future as well.

This initiative by the traffic police under the leadership of ADCP Varun Kumar Singh has been undertaken by giving topmost priority to public safety. His skilled guidance and active presence on the ground made the campaign effective. Movement of two-wheelers, three-wheelers and other prohibited vehicles is strictly banned on high-speed corridors like the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.
