Ghaziabad temple celebrates Laddu Gopal Chhathi with devotional songs and rituals

A celebration marking Laddu Gopal Chhathi was held with great devotion and festivity at the Shri Shiv Balaji Dham temple in Gulmohur Enclave Society, located on Rakesh Marg in Ghaziabad. The festival, observed to mark the sixth day after the birth of Lord Krishna, drew a large gathering of women residents and devotees from the society who participated in the religious observance with faith and devotion.

The celebration took place at the temple premises where women sang devotional songs and bhajans dedicated to Kanhaji's Chhathi. The atmosphere resonated with melodies as women performed devotional songs to the accompaniment of dholak and manjiras. The women also danced while singing bhakti songs, creating a devotion-filled ambiance throughout the temple complex. As part of the rituals, women swung Kanha ji on a jhula and offered their congratulations and blessings.

Following the singing and dancing, the aarti of Laddu Gopal was performed according to traditional rituals and customs. After the aarti concluded, prasad consisting of kadhi-chawal was distributed among all the devotees present. The devotees received the prasad and sought the blessings of Lord Shri Krishna.

Pandit Rajiv Mishra, the temple priest, explained that women participated enthusiastically in the sankirtan organized on the occasion of Laddu Gopal Chhathi. Former society president Rashmi Chaudhary spoke on the occasion, stating that such religious events strengthen faith, mutual love and the spirit of brotherhood within the society.

The Laddu Gopal Chhathi celebration was organized by Alok Mishra and Karuna Mishra family. Among those present on the occasion were former society president Rashmi Chaudhary, Karuna Mishra, Santosh Big, Sonia Malhotra, Pandit Rajiv Mishra, Suresh Mishra, Alok Mishra, Dinesh Singh, along with a large number of society residents and devotees.
