Five accused charged under Gangster Act in two-and-half crore rupee Bulandshahr fraud

Five people, including a dairy operator and his son, have been charged under the Gangster Act in connection with a fraud worth approximately two and a half crore rupees involving Creamy Foods Limited in Bulandshahr. The accused are alleged to have formed a gang to carry out financial irregularities and cheating for economic gain.

The rural superintendent of police, IPS Antariksh Jain, said that Lakhan Lal Sharma, the manager of Creamy Foods Limited, had lodged a complaint of fraud at the Khurja Dehat police station on 24 January 2025. In his report, Sharma accused Jyoti Dairy operator Om Prakash Singh, Mahendra Singh, Prem Kumar Gautam, Bhupendra and Sachin of committing a fraud of around two and a half crore rupees with the company. The dairy plant in question is the Madhusudan Dugdh Plant, also known as Creamy Foods Limited, located in Khurja town in Bulandshahr.

After the case was registered, police launched an investigation into the matter. Based on the evidence gathered during the probe, all five accused were arrested and sent to jail. According to police, the investigation revealed that the accused had formed a gang among themselves and were engaged in cheating and financial irregularities for economic benefit. On this basis, action was taken against all five under the Gangster Act on Monday.

Police have now turned their attention to illegal properties acquired by the accused. The investigating team is collecting details of the assets accumulated by the accused through their alleged crimes. Once the properties are identified, the process of attaching them will be initiated. Police stated that strict action will continue to be taken against those involved in organized economic crimes. The police have taken major action in this case involving the Madhusudan Dugdh Plant at Khurja town in Bulandshahr district.
