Container truck collision near Tundla toll plaza causes fiery chaos

A massive accident near the Tundla toll plaza in Firozabad triggered chaos on Thursday when a speeding container truck collided with a stationary truck, leading to a fiery blaze. The collision caused the container’s cabin to catch fire, engulfing the area in thick flames and smoke. The driver of the container was injured but was pulled out of the burning vehicle just in time by locals and emergency responders.

Eyewitnesses reported that the container truck was moving at high speed when it rammed into the parked truck. The impact was so severe that the cabin of the container turned into a ball of fire within seconds. Panic spread as flames leapt high, and people rushed to rescue the driver. Emergency services, including police and fire personnel, arrived promptly at the scene. Two fire engines were deployed to control the blaze, which took considerable effort to extinguish.

The accident caused significant disruption near the toll plaza, with traffic coming to a standstill as authorities worked to clear the area. Firozabad Chief Fire Officer Satyendra Pandey confirmed that the fire was intense but brought under control swiftly. "Our team acted immediately, and we were able to prevent the fire from spreading further," he said.

While the driver’s injuries were not life-threatening, the accident serves as a grim reminder of the importance of road safety measures.
