The Chief Minister pointed out specific issues faced by farmers cultivating crops like chilli, tobacco, and mangoes, particularly the Totapuri variety, and stressed the need for scientific farming techniques to address these challenges. He directed officials to focus on promoting the cultivation of pulses, which are in high demand, as a means to improve farmers’ incomes. Additionally, he instructed the agriculture department to hold discussions with aqua farmers and feed manufacturers to resolve sector-specific concerns.

The meeting was attended by Agriculture Minister K. Atchannaidu, Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad, and other senior officials.
