Blood Donation Institution chairman completes 34th donation in Ayodhya

Nirmal Kumar Pandey, chairman of the Blood Donation Institution, completed his 34th blood donation at a voluntary blood donation camp organised in Ayodhya. The milestone was achieved at an event held at H R Palace in Ayodhya, the sacred city of Lord Ram, under the aegis of Ramkrishna Seva Foundation Ayodhya.

Speaking on the occasion, Pandey said that people from various states and districts across India had gathered under one roof to donate blood. He expressed his good fortune at receiving the opportunity to donate blood at this venue. Pandey, who hails from Pratapgarh, emphasised that he would continue to donate blood as long as he remained physically capable. He said that this was his 34th blood donation and that he would continue this work of saving lives by donating blood regularly in future for as long as God kept him able.

Following the blood donation programme, Pandey was felicitated with the Sewa Ratna Samman award by Akash Gupta, founder of Ramkrishna Seva Foundation, and Srimati Anju Singh, Maharani of Singramaau State. The honour was conferred on him for the excellent work carried out by the Blood Donation Institution in multiple fields for the welfare of society.

The institution chairman said he felt extremely proud to donate blood on the sacred land of Ayodhya, the pilgrimage site of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. He reflected that this must certainly be the fruit of good deeds from his previous births, which he was receiving through the act of blood donation. Thanking Ramkrishna Seva Foundation founder Akash Gupta, Pandey said that by the grace of Lord Shri Ram, Gupta had organised this great sacrifice in the form of blood donation on the sacred soil of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. He said they had received the good fortune of offering their oblation in the form of blood donation. He added that through this oblation in the form of blood donation by all of them, the lamps of countless homes would be saved from being extinguished. He expressed gratitude on behalf of all the guests and blood donors who had come from across India.

Alok Aggarwal, who is known as Bloodman in Balrampur district, honoured the Blood Donation Institution chairman by presenting him with a certificate of appreciation. He said that Nirmal Pandey had been working in multiple fields for the welfare of society for many years. He expressed his wish to Lord Shri Ram that Pandey should always continue working for the welfare of society in this manner.

Ghanshyam Sharma, founder of MWO Organisation, said that the Blood Donation Institution had so far helped lakhs of patients by forming its teams in countless states across the country. He said that witnessing the work of the Blood Donation Institution fills the heart with joy, and every work done by the institution chairman is exemplary.

The national-level Seva Ratna Samman honour recognises Pandey's sustained efforts through the Blood Donation Institution, which has created teams across numerous states and provided assistance to lakhs of patients throughout the country.
