BJP To Prepare 4-5 Name Panel For Rajya Sabha Seat

Several major decisions were discussed at the BJP core group meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence in Bhopal. The meeting concluded with discussions on organisational programmes, political issues and plans to communicate the government’s work to the public.

A panel of 4-5 names will be prepared for one Rajya Sabha seat. The names of the candidates will then be sent to the central leadership for consideration.

The BJP also discussed organising large rallies in Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur. These events will be held under the ‘लोकतंत्र बचाओ, अराजकता हटाओ’ campaign, which has set a target of participation by one lakh people. Programmes will also be organised at all district headquarters in the state.

The meeting discussed forming a special team under the leadership of ministers to ensure that people receive the benefits of central government schemes. There was also a discussion on creating a system under which one MP from each Union ministry would be connected with the process.

A condemnation resolution was passed against Kharge’s comment on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s father.

The Uniform Civil Code (UCC) was also discussed during the meeting. The BJP further considered preparations to take the achievements of the Mohan Yadav government’s three years to the public.

The meeting also discussed making the work of ministers, MLAs and MPs available on a public portal. The programme outline for Bhagwan Birsa Munda Jayanti on 15 November was also discussed.
