Bihar Government Launches Sankalp Dashboard, Samanvay Portal To Track Schemes And Projects

The Bihar government has launched the ‘Sankalp’ dashboard and the ‘Samanvay’ portal to monitor government schemes, departmental functioning and important projects through digital platforms. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary launched both platforms on 13 October at the ‘Samvad’ auditorium in the main secretariat in Patna.

The ‘Sankalp’ dashboard has been designed to bring the review of major schemes, projects, investments and the functioning of all 48 departments of the state onto a single platform. The dashboard includes modules for monitoring at the chief minister’s level, projects and investments, departmental performance, and the resolution of pending matters.

The ‘Samanvay’ portal is aimed at improving coordination between the Bihar government and the central government. It will also be used to track the progress of central schemes and ensure the time-bound resolution of related matters.

The launch of the two digital platforms is intended to provide a common system for reviewing departmental work and monitoring key government activities. Through the ‘Sankalp’ dashboard, information linked to the state’s 48 departments can be reviewed on one platform, while the ‘Samanvay’ portal will focus on coordination with the central government and the progress of central schemes.

The chief minister also directed that the number of CCTV cameras in Patna be increased and that the monitoring system be integrated.

The actual success of these initiatives will depend on how quickly departmental work is completed and how much improvement is seen in resolving the complaints of ordinary people.
