Tinnu Yadav, closely associated with Champat Rai, the secretary of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust, has become a central figure in allegations surrounding theft at the temple. Known for managing temple security and donations, Tinnu's role has expanded significantly since the construction of the Ram Mandir began in 2019. He reportedly earns over ₹22,000 per month as an internal salaried worker of the trust.

The temple houses 14 donation boxes, with daily offerings exceeding ₹1 crore, including gold, silver, and diamond jewelry. Former accounts officer Mahipal Singh alleged discrepancies in the handling of donations, claiming that jewelry was stored without proper weighing or records. Singh also accused Tinnu of deleting eight months of CCTV footage after irregularities were discovered in cash counting.

Tinnu's rise began in the 1990s when he worked as a driver for Mahesh Narayan, a key figure in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. After Narayan's death in 2002, Tinnu started working closely with Champat Rai, eventually becoming a trusted member of the trust.

Investigations revealed Tinnu's financial dealings, including income from rental properties. His new luxury house reportedly generates ₹37,000 monthly rent from 14 rooms rented to students. Despite attempts to contact him, Tinnu remained elusive, directing reporters to meet him at the trust office.

The trust has recently installed a new locker system at the office, possibly to enhance security for cash and valuables. However, reporters were asked to leave the premises during their visit.
