District authorities in Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh, launched a bulldozer operation to remove illegal encroachment on government land adjacent to a school boundary wall. The action, carried out with heavy police deployment, targeted land meant for threshing grounds and village pathways that had been illegally occupied for years.

The demolition drive took place in Mauza Judpaniya under Madarahwa Gram Panchayat in the Sirsia area. According to official sources, Ram Bahadur alias Gobare, a local villager, had been illegally occupying plot number 356, which comprises khaliyan (threshing ground) and chakmarg (village path) land adjacent to plot 355. Following complaints, a joint team from the revenue department and police arrived at the site and began the eviction process using bulldozers.

The operation faced an unexpected hurdle when family members of the encroacher suddenly rushed in front of the JCB machine as it began demolishing the illegal structures. They pleaded with officials to halt the action temporarily and requested time to remove their belongings safely from the premises.

Officials present at the scene granted a four-day ultimatum to the occupants. Authorities confirmed that half of the khaliyan land has been completely cleared, but the remaining portion still contains cattle fodder and other household items belonging to the encroacher's family. The authorities warned that if the occupants fail to vacate the remaining land within the stipulated timeframe, the administration will return with bulldozers to forcibly clear the entire area.

The action demonstrates the district administration's continued crackdown on illegal land grabbing, particularly on government property earmarked for public use and educational institutions.
