Ankit Baliyan Murder: Family Holds Panchayat, Alleges Police Negligence in Shamli

The murder case of Haryanvi artist Ankit Baliyan in Shamli has intensified, with his family members organising a panchayat and demanding action from the police and administration. The family alleged that the police had been negligent in taking action in the case.

The murder took place in the Sadar Kotwali area. Several people attended the panchayat, including Bharatiya Kisan Union national president and former BJP MP Sanjeev Baliyan. The demand for strict action against those accused in Ankit Baliyan’s murder and the early arrest of the accused who are absconding was raised prominently during the meeting.

The family members said effective action should be taken in the case to ensure justice for Ankit Baliyan. They urged the police to arrest the absconding accused at the earliest and take strict legal action against them.

During the panchayat, the family members also raised several demands linked to the development of Ankit Baliyan’s village. They demanded the construction of a girls’ inter college and a stadium in the village, along with several other demands before the government.

The family said better facilities for education and sports should be made available in the village. According to them, this would provide children from the rural area with opportunities to move forward.

The people present at the panchayat also demanded an impartial investigation into the Ankit Baliyan murder case. They called for strict action against those found guilty in the case.
