Annadatha Sukhibhava, PM-KISAN Benefits to Be Released in Andhra Pradesh on June 20
The Andhra Pradesh government is set to disburse the first instalment of financial assistance under the Annadatha Sukhibhava scheme for the 2026-27 financial year, alongside the 23rd instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme, on June 20. This initiative will benefit over 46.85 lakh farmer families across the State. The fund release coincides with the nationwide observance of ‘PM-KISAN Utsav Diwas,’ as announced by the Central government.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the national-level programme at Tarakeswar in Hooghly district, West Bengal, while Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will attend the State-level event at Lingamguntla village in the Chilakaluripet Assembly constituency of Palnadu district. The Annadatha Sukhibhava scheme, which provides direct income support to eligible farmer families, was launched on August 2, 2025.
Under the first instalment for 2026-27, each beneficiary family will receive ₹7,000, which includes ₹5,000 from the State government and ₹2,000 under the Centre’s PM-KISAN scheme. A total of 46,85,838 farmer families are expected to benefit, comprising 45,69,817 land-owning farmer families and 1,16,021 farmers holding Record of Forest Rights (RoFR) titles. The combined assistance package amounts to ₹3,125.47 crore.
Of this, the State government will contribute ₹2,342.92 crore, while the Centre will provide ₹782.55 crore through PM-KISAN. The programme is scheduled to begin at 3:45 p.m. and will be broadcast live at all Rythu Seva Kendras (RSKs) across Andhra Pradesh.
Officials have stated that the simultaneous release of benefits under the Annadatha Sukhibhava and PM-KISAN schemes aims to provide timely financial support to farmers, strengthen farm livelihoods, and promote sustainable agricultural growth throughout the State.
