A district-level taekwondo competition for secondary school students was organised at Dr. Rizvi Memorial Public School, Chikmandi, Lalganj in Raibareli.
The competition saw participation from 35 players studying in classes 6 to 12 under the UP Board. After intense competition, 16 players were selected for the divisional-level tournament.
All the selected players will represent Raibareli district in the divisional-level competition to be held in Lucknow on September 16.
The selected players include Sandeep, Shifa Kulsum, Priyansh Maurya, Vansh Maurya, Sushmita Sonkar, Radhika Tiwari, Sanskar, Abdullah Always, Aditi, Nirbhay, Cash Kashyap, Anshu Sahu, Ramgopal, Rohit and Arambh Shukla.
On the selection of these players, District School Inspector Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Secretary of Secondary Sports Association Ajay Singh Chandel, District Taekwondo Secretary Dr. Ataur Rahman, Dimpy Tiwari, Santlal, sports teachers Sadanand, Mohammad Anis, Mahtab Alam, Aman Mansuri, Aiman, Arvind Sonkar, Jitendra Prajapati, Chandra Prakash Tiwari, Suyash Shukla and others extended their good wishes.
