A young man died after a high-speed Eeco van and a motorcycle collided near Chilouli on the Lucknow-Varanasi National Highway in Amethi. The forceful collision left the two people travelling on the motorcycle seriously injured.
The injured were brought to the Trauma Centre in Jagdishpur for treatment. A team of doctors at the centre declared one of the injured young men dead. The other युवक was referred for further treatment after receiving care.
It was being reported that the van was coming from the wrong side when it collided forcefully with the motorcycle. The incident took place in the Inhauna police station area, near Chilouli.
After receiving information about the accident, police reached the spot, took the body into custody and began other legal proceedings.
