A woman died and her husband was seriously injured after a kutcha house collapsed in Amethi amid intermittent rain over the past 2 days.
The incident took place in Balbhadrapur village under the Jamon police station area. According to the information, the couple came under the debris after the house collapsed due to the rain.
It is being said that both of them had gone behind the house to untie a buffalo that was tied there. At that spot, because of the rain, a wall suddenly came down, trapping the husband and wife under the debris.
After hearing the noise, people rushed to the spot. They pulled out the couple from under the debris and took them to the CHC for treatment.
The wife died during treatment, while the seriously injured husband is still undergoing treatment.
After receiving information, police reached the spot, took the woman’s body into custody and began legal proceedings.
