Amethi family alleges murder after youth found dead in garden

In Amethi, the body of a youth found under suspicious circumstances in a garden has now reached his village after the postmortem, while his family has accused his companions of murder.

According to the family, a video was found on the deceased youth’s mobile phone, in which there was a dispute and abusive exchange. After seeing the video, the family alleged that his companions were involved in killing him.

The family has claimed that, as per the video found on the deceased’s mobile, the youth was beaten up and murdered. They also alleged that the police and the companions had informed them that he had died by hanging himself in a case of suicide.

However, the family said that when the police and relatives reached the spot, the body was found lying on a cot. The victim’s family has now filed a complaint with the police, accusing all five companions of the deceased youth of murder.

The deceased youth was a resident of Pure Dwagpal Katari village under the Jamo police station area. He worked as a labourer in a mango orchard in Ramnagar under the Amethi Kotwali area.
