UP Fisheries Minister Nishad to review development schemes in Kanpur Dehat

Dr. Sanjay Kumar Nishad, Cabinet Minister for the Fisheries Department of Uttar Pradesh and Minister-in-Charge of Kanpur Dehat district, will visit Kanpur Dehat on September 16, 2026. During this visit, he will conduct a high-level review of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' being run in the district, along with development schemes and law and order situation.

The Minister-in-Charge has a detailed schedule planned for the day. At 11:00 AM in the morning, a review meeting concerning the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' will be organized at the Collectorate auditorium. Following this, at 12:00 PM in the afternoon, a review meeting will be held to assess the law and order situation and development works in the district.

The meetings to be held at the Collectorate auditorium will see the participation of key public representatives and officers. Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha Members of Parliament, Cabinet and State Ministers, area MLAs and Members of Legislative Council (MLC), District Panchayat President, district presidents of BJP, Nishad Party and allied parties will remain present. The District Magistrate (DM) and Superintendent of Police (SP) along with all concerned officers and public representatives of the district will also be in attendance.

The development and law and order review meeting scheduled for 12 noon will focus on several key issues. A point-by-point review will be conducted on the progress of public welfare schemes running in the district, the status of projects under construction, and the security and law and order situation in the area. The Minister-in-Charge will issue necessary guidelines to officers for completing work within the stipulated time and for resolving public problems.
