Thousands gather in Ujjain for final Shravan month procession of Lord Mahakal

The fourth and final procession of Baba Mahakal during the auspicious month of Shravan took place in Ujjain today, drawing thousands of devotees who lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the deity. Lord Mahakal, also known as Chandramoleshwar, was carried through the city seated in a silver-adorned palanquin, continuing a centuries-old tradition that holds deep religious significance for devotees across the country.

The Shravan month processions are among the most important religious events in Ujjain, one of Hinduism's seven sacred cities and home to the famous Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple.
