Students and teachers tie rakhis to Pratapgarh police, strengthening community bonds

Students and teachers from several schools in Pratapgarh celebrated Raksha Bandhan on Thursday by tying rakhis to police officers and personnel at the Superintendent of Police office. The event sought to strengthen the bond of trust, affection, and protection between the police force and the community.

Female students and teachers from Sanskar Global School, BL Sudhita International School, SDA Secondary School, and Atreya Academy participated in the celebration. They tied rakhis to Superintendent of Police Deepak Bhukar, Additional Superintendent of Police East Alok Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Police West Brijnandan Rai, and several other police officers and staff members. While tying the sacred thread, the students expressed their affection and trust toward the police personnel and wished them a healthy and safe life.

On the occasion, Superintendent Bhukar presented gifts to the students to encourage them. He emphasized that the sacred thread of Raksha Bandhan symbolizes a pledge of trust and protection. He assured that the Pratapgarh police remain committed to ensuring the safety, respect, and dignity of every daughter and woman in the district.

Bhukar further noted that such programs, which strengthen mutual trust and cooperation between police and society, play an important role in fostering social harmony and creating a secure environment. The event was attended by various officers and staff members of the police department.
