Student from Auraiya dies in Delhi building collapse at Satya Niketan

A student from Auraiya has died in a building collapse in Delhi's Satya Niketan area. The victim has been identified as Pawan, a resident of Dibiyapur in Auraiya district.

Pawan had taken admission in BSc Computer on July 20 this year and was living in a paying guest accommodation in Satya Niketan, Delhi. After the incident, a photograph went viral on social media, leading to the identification of the body found buried under the debris as that of student Pawan from Dibiyapur, Auraiya.

Pawan was the only son in his family. His father is retired from his job as a pharmacist.

Following the news of Pawan's death, people are reaching his home to offer condolences. People present at the site are saying that Pawan's body is expected to arrive in Dibiyapur by late evening.
