Storm, Rain Trigger Power Crisis In Shravasti; Hundreds Of Poles Down

A severe storm and torrential rain in Shravasti have triggered a major power crisis, adding to the difficulties of ordinary people after the natural calamity hit the district.

According to the source material, hundreds of electricity poles and transformers have collapsed because of the intense storm and heavy rainfall. As a result, several areas in the district are facing blackout-like conditions, leaving residents struggling with disrupted power supply.

Amid the crisis, Samajwadi Party national secretary Masood Alam Khan has stepped in and spoken directly to senior officials of the electricity department. He has strongly demanded that power supply be restored on a war footing in the affected areas.

Masood Alam Khan said clearly that repair and restoration work should be carried out on a priority basis in the affected localities so that people can get relief at the earliest.

He also appealed to the public to cooperate with the linemen and electricity department staff engaged in repair work. He urged people to maintain a safe distance from broken electric wires and to immediately inform the control room about any danger.

According to him, removing the difficulties being faced by the public in this hour of crisis is the first priority, and the department must bring the system back on track without any delay.
