Ankur Arya emerged as the star performer, clinching the gold medal in the under-17 age group's under-45 kg weight category. His stellar performance has earned him selection for the upcoming National Taekwondo Championship to be held at Bal Vikas Progressive School in Panipat, Haryana. In the under-14 category's 41 kg weight division, Adarsh Kumar secured a bronze medal, while Jaanvi Mishra also claimed bronze in the under-17 age group's under-52 kg weight category.
The school management honoured the achievers with both cash prizes and medals. Ankur Arya received Rs 2,500 in cash along with a medal, while Adarsh Kumar and Jaanvi Mishra were each awarded Rs 1,100 in cash and medals. During the same ceremony, the school also felicitated earlier state-level winners from August—Aditya Deep Pandey, who won gold, and Saransh Rakesh Bhongade, who secured bronze at the competition held at KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow.
School manager Sujain Dutta congratulated all winners, emphasizing that participation matters more than victory alone. She stressed that sports contribute to physical, mental, and intellectual development, forming the foundation for a strong India. Principal Payal Dubey praised both the athletes and their coach Pratyush Raj, wishing them continued success.
