Shravasti police conduct major reshuffle of station in-charge officers across district

Shravasti district police have announced a major reshuffle of station in-charge personnel, with nearly a dozen sub-inspectors receiving new postings across various police outposts in the region. The transfers mark a significant administrative reorganization aimed at strengthening law enforcement presence in the district.

Amit Pratap Singh, who was earlier posted at the Police Lines, has been appointed as the in-charge of Bhangha police outpost. Siddharth Jaiswal will now head the Banthihawa station, while Santosh Kumar has been given charge of Jokhwa Bazar outpost. The reshuffle also sees Vinayak Singh moving to Jamunha and Shailendra Kumar Sonkar taking over Asnahariya outpost.

In other key appointments, Chandan Prajapati has been transferred, and Vishal Shukla has been assigned to Lakshman Nagar outpost. Chandrasekhar Prajapati has been entrusted with the command of Chandrakha Buzurg police station. Meanwhile, Sandeep Kumar will now serve as the in-charge of Ramwapur, and Gulabchandra Chaudhary has been posted to Semgadha outpost.

Several officers have been moved to the Police Lines as part of the reshuffle. Rambhawan Prajapati, the former in-charge of Bhangha, and Jayvendra Kumar, who was heading Banthihawa, have both been sent to Police Lines. Satyajit and Jitendra Kumar Verma have also been posted to Police Lines.

Such periodic transfers are routine in police administration and are typically carried out to ensure better coordination, prevent stagnation, and maintain accountability within the force. The Shravasti police leadership has not issued a formal statement on the specific reasons behind this round of postings, but such reshuffles are often part of broader efforts to optimize field operations and improve public service delivery.
