Shivgarh woman secures second rank in UP teacher exam, brings laurels to district

Akanksha Verma, a young woman from Shivgarh in Raebareli district, has brought laurels to her region and the entire district by securing the second rank in Uttar Pradesh in the UPPSC Assistant Teacher Trained Graduate Women Examination 2025 in the Science category. Her remarkable achievement has filled the area with pride and celebration.

The list of provisionally selected candidates released by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, Prayagraj, shows Akanksha Verma's name at the second position in the state. This exceptional performance in the competitive examination has put Shivgarh and Raebareli on the map of academic excellence.

Akanksha Verma is the daughter of retired teacher Gomti Prasad Verma and Ramadevi Verma, who reside in Chandapur Majra Goorha in the Shivgarh area. Her parents' background in education appears to have played a significant role in nurturing her academic aspirations and achievements.

Following her outstanding success, several dignitaries visited her home to felicitate her and her parents. Manager of New Public Academy Inter College Bhawaniganj Vivek Bajpayee, Principal Pushkarnath Shukla, and teachers Satya Prakash Verma, Shyam Kumar Saini, Dr Akhilesh Singh, Monu Yadav, and Kaushal Kishore Verma reached her residence and honored Akanksha and her parents by offering sweets and extending their congratulations. Tanu Verma, Abhas Verma, Jamuna Prasad, Yogesh Kumar, and Abhishek Verma also extended their best wishes to the achiever.

Crediting her success to her parents and teachers, Akanksha Verma shared details of her educational journey. She completed her education up to Intermediate from New Public Academy Inter College Bhawaniganj. She then pursued her graduation and post-graduation from Firoz Gandhi College Raebareli, and completed her B.Ed. from New Standard Salethu.

Akanksha emphasized that the capable teachers and disciplined environment at New Public Academy played a crucial role in shaping her career. She expressed her goal of becoming a good teacher, building the future of children, and serving the nation through education.

Manager Vivek Bajpayee of New Public Academy revealed that besides Akanksha Verma, several other students from their institution have recently achieved success. Anshika Singh daughter of Ajay Singh from Shivgarh, Himanshi daughter of Harishankar from Badwal, and Sumit Kumar Shukla son of Vaishnavi Datt Shukla from Bhausi have been selected for the post of Technical Assistant by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission. Additionally, Abhishek Kumar from Goorha is also among the successful candidates from the institution.
