Shahdol to Host Inter-Provincial Patriotic Group Singing Competition on October 24

An inter-provincial group singing competition will be held in Shahdol on 24 October 2026. The event will begin at 1 pm at Bharti Palace, near the under bridge, Shahdol. It is being organised by the Swami Vivekananda branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Shahdol.

Teams from Shahdol, Anuppur, Katni, Rewa, Singrauli and Chhatarpur will take part in the competition. The participating teams will present group renditions of patriotic songs.

Bharat Vikas Parishad works to spread patriotism, Indian culture and moral values in society. Its work is based on five principles: contact, cooperation, values, service and dedication.

The inter-provincial group singing competition is being organised as an effort to take this objective forward. Through the collective singing of patriotic songs, participants will convey a message of national consciousness, cultural pride and unity.

The competition will also seek to encourage young people to connect with Indian traditions, values and the spirit of patriotism. Through the programme, the organisers aim to promote these values among the participating youth.
