SDM inspects relief arrangements across Muzzafarnagar as heavy rainfall batters district

Subdivisional Magistrate (SDM) Sadar Shubham Srivastava conducted a series of rapid inspections across Muzzafarnagar district amid heavy rainfall, personally monitoring relief arrangements and cattle shelter facilities to ensure no lapses occur during the adverse weather conditions. The senior official has been continuously visiting different areas to assess ground-level preparedness and reassure residents during the downpour.

During his field visits, SDM Srivastava inspected the cattle shelter in Charthawl Nagar Panchayat and another shelter located in Bilarasi village of Charthawl block. He thoroughly checked the availability of adequate fodder, green feed, and the presence of veterinary doctors at both facilities. The SDM issued a stern warning to concerned staff, making it clear that any negligence in the management of cattle shelters would invite strict action against the responsible personnel.

The administration has appealed to residents to remain vigilant during the heavy rainfall and immediately report any instances of waterlogging, property damage, or emergency situations to the authorities. Officials have stressed the importance of timely communication to enable swift response and relief measures.

Local residents have expressed appreciation for the proactive approach of the administration, noting that the personal presence of senior officials on the ground during challenging weather conditions is reassuring.
