Muzaffarnagar man accuses two of illegally occupying government cattle shelter land

A resident of Muzaffarnagar district has accused two individuals of illegally occupying government cattle shelter land and executing fraudulent property transfers, prompting a formal complaint to the district magistrate demanding immediate action. Gulam Mohammad, a resident of village Seekri under Bhopa police station jurisdiction, has alleged that Atiqur Rahman and Najeebur Rahman illegally transferred government-owned cattle shelter land to their wives through separate sale deeds.

According to the complaint submitted to the district magistrate, the disputed land is located near the bus stand in village Seekri and falls under Khasra number 1991, designated as government cattle shelter property. The complainant has valued the land at approximately seventy-five to eighty lakh rupees. Mohammad has presented evidence of the site's long-standing use as a government cattle shelter, pointing to the presence of feeding troughs for animals still visible on the property.

The complaint reveals that this is not the first time concerns have been raised about the illegal occupation. Following an earlier complaint, a revenue department team had visited the site on orders from the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Jansath and installed a government board while issuing directions to vacate the illegal occupation. Despite these previous administrative interventions, the alleged encroachment has persisted.

Mohammad has further alleged that an illegal access road has been constructed through the government land, compounding the encroachment issue. In his petition to the district magistrate, he has demanded closure of the unauthorized road, a thorough investigation into the allegedly forged sale deeds, and registration of criminal cases against those involved in the illegal occupation of government property.

The administration's response to the complaint and subsequent investigation will determine what action, if any, is taken to reclaim the government land and prosecute those accused of fraudulent property transactions.
