Savarna Army demands caste-based reservation system reforms in Shravasti

Savarna Army and other organisations have raised their voice in Shravasti demanding reforms in the reservation system and equal opportunities. Under the banner of Reservation Reform Satyagraha, office bearers of the organisation submitted a memorandum addressed to the President to the District Magistrate, raising several demands including a review of the reservation system.

In Shravasti, a delegation led by Savarna Army district president Rupendra Srivastava and state legal cell in-charge advocate Aman Pandey submitted the memorandum addressed to the President to the District Magistrate. The memorandum included several demands such as reviewing the caste-based reservation system and implementing reservation based on economic criteria, making necessary amendments to the SC-ST Act, withdrawing the UGC Regulation Act 2026, and forming a National Savarna Commission to address the problems of the general category.

RHA media in-charge Dharmendra Mishra and other people associated with the organisation were present on the occasion.

State legal cell in-charge advocate Aman Pandey said that every citizen of the country should get equal opportunities. He said that reforms in the reservation system are necessary according to the times and the demand for Reservation Reform is being raised with this objective. He said that the organisation is taking its demands to the government and administration through democratic means. The delegation demanded that the President consider the demands raised in the memorandum seriously and take necessary action.
