Saraswati College of Nursing Holds 11th Lamp Lighting, Oath-Taking Ceremony

Saraswati College of Nursing organised the 11th Lamp Lighting and Oath-Taking Ceremony at the auditorium of Saraswati Institute of Medical Sciences. The ceremony marked the beginning of the professional journey of newly admitted students in the field of nursing.

The event was organised by Saraswati College of Nursing, also referred to as SCON. It brought together newly admitted students, their parents, faculty members and other guests for the lamp lighting and oath-taking programme.

Dr. Ramya Ramachandran, Vice Chairperson, Saraswati Group of Institutions, congratulated the newly admitted students on the occasion. She encouraged them to work towards academic and professional excellence, strengthen their clinical skills and treat every patient with empathy, dignity and respect.

The chief guest, Colonel Sujata, also addressed the students. She encouraged them to move forward with confidence and strengthen healthcare services through dedicated patient care.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. R. Piramila, Principal, Saraswati College of Nursing.

Faculty members of the institution, parents and students also attended the 11th Lamp Lighting and Oath-Taking Ceremony held at the Saraswati Institute of Medical Sciences auditorium.
