Samajwadi Party holds major membership drive in Sambhal district

The Samajwadi Party witnessed a major membership enrollment drive in Sambhal district as a large crowd joined the party fold under the leadership of senior functionaries at a ceremony held in Chandausi. The event took place at the residence of Umesh Gupta, district president of the Samajwadi Party Sambhal, and Meena Gupta, former state executive member of the women's wing, on 12-09-2026.

The membership enrollment was led by Himani Varshney and Hanni Varshney Chandra, who brought a substantial gathering of supporters to join the party. The ceremony was conducted by Asgar Ali Ansari, district president of the Samajwami Party Sambhal, Rajesh Kumari Yadav, national secretary of the women's wing Lucknow, and Sanjay Madan, city president of the Samajwadi Party Chandausi.

Speaking on the occasion, the district president said that the Samajwadi Party is very conscious about the security of women. The enrollment event saw the presence of a large number of party workers. Among those present were Meena Gupta, Aarti Bajaj, Gudiya, Saroj, Somwati, Tanu Gupta, Geeta, Shivani Gupta, Veena Gupta, and Rajat Yadav, city vice president of Samajwadi Chandausi.

All the leaders welcomed and honored the women and new members by presenting them with party sashes as a mark of recognition and respect.
