Saharanpur Range DIG Conducts Shamli Foot Patrol Ahead of Festivals

The police administration in Shamli is on alert ahead of the upcoming festivals, with preparations focused on ensuring that the celebrations are held in a peaceful and safe environment. On Friday, Saharanpur Range DIG Abhishek Singh conducted a foot patrol in Shamli city along with the police force and reviewed the security arrangements.

The patrol included ASP Sumit Shukla, CO Jitendra Yadav and other police officers and personnel. The officials came out on the streets as part of the security exercise and assessed the situation at important locations across the city.

The foot march began from Shamli Kotwali. From there, the police team moved through several major parts of the city, including Verma Market, Vijay Anand Chowk, Fawwara Chowk and Vijay Chowk.

During the march, the police officers inspected the security arrangements in the markets and at the main intersections. They also reviewed the arrangements required to maintain peace and order during the upcoming festivals.

The police officials issued necessary directions to ensure that law and order is maintained. The foot march was also aimed at creating an atmosphere of security among the general public during the festival period.

The visit and patrol were part of the Shamli police administration’s preparations for the upcoming festivals. The police force remained present with the senior officers as they moved through the city’s prominent markets and crossings.

At present, Shamli police is maintaining a high level of alertness for the peaceful conduct of the upcoming festivals. The department is keeping a continuous watch on the security arrangements and is reviewing the situation in the city.

The foot patrol was led by Abhishek Singh, DIG, Saharanpur Range. ASP Sumit Shukla, CO Jitendra Yadav and other police officers and personnel were also present during the march.
