Railways beef up security at Auraiya station for Raksha Bandhan rush

Enhanced security arrangements and passenger facilitation measures were implemented at Fffund Railway Station in Auraiya during the Raksha Bandhan festival under the supervision of Railway Protection Force in-charge NK Yadav and the Government Railway Police.

Security personnel were deployed across every corner of the station premises to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers traveling during the festive period. The heightened security arrangements extended from railway stations to roadways, reflecting comprehensive preparations for the auspicious occasion.

RPF in-charge NK Yadav personally supervised the operations and directed his team to focus on assisting passengers boarding and alighting from trains on both up and down lines. Special attention was given to managing crowds and helping travelers navigate the rush during the festival. The officer, accompanied by his team, remained present on the station premises throughout the day to ensure smooth operations.

The security measures were put in place keeping in mind the large movement of passengers during Raksha Bandhan, when people travel to meet their siblings and families. The festival traditionally sees a surge in railway travel, necessitating enhanced vigilance and passenger assistance at stations.

The RPF and GRP teams worked in coordination to ensure that the festival was celebrated safely and without any untoward incidents.
