The trailer for Nissam Basheer’s upcoming crime thriller I, Nobody has been released, offering a gripping glimpse into the story of Rajeevan, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu and explores the consequences of Rajeevan’s criminal lifestyle on his family.

The trailer begins with Rajeevan being confronted by two men who demand half of the wealth he has accumulated through his illegal activities. While he appears to offer them everything, his actions suggest otherwise, as scenes of him fighting back are interspersed with his response.

The tension escalates when the police arrive at Rajeevan’s home to question him about a suspected money laundering case. This isn’t his first brush with trouble, as neighbors complain about his violent behavior, including an incident where he assaulted the building’s security guard in an elevator. Despite warnings from the police, Rajeevan remains unapologetic, admitting, “Can’t help it, sir. My ways have always been a bit reckless.”

As the stakes rise, Rajeevan becomes increasingly concerned about the safety of his family, especially when his wife Meera, played by Parvathy, and their children are dragged into the chaos. Meera, prioritizing her children’s well-being, expresses her disbelief in Rajeevan’s promises to fix the situation. In a tense moment, she confronts him, questioning his silence when others label him a criminal.

Under mounting pressure to surrender, Rajeevan tries to reassure his daughter, ominously stating that those who have tried to derail him haven’t lived long enough to see the consequences.

The trailer also takes a unique approach to introducing its credits, labeling the editor, director, and technical crew as “nobody.” However, director Nissam Basheer is far from an unknown figure, having previously directed the critically acclaimed psychological thriller Rorschach in 2022, which starred Mammootty.

I, Nobody marks the reunion of Prithviraj and Parvathy after their successful collaborations in films like Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015), Koode (2018), and My Story (2018). This is their first project together in eight years. The film is set to hit theaters on July 9.
