Police reunite missing 6-year-old girl with family in Kanpur Dehat

Police in Kanpur Dehat district have successfully traced and reunited a missing 6-year-old girl with her family within hours under 'Operation Muskaan', bringing immense relief to her worried relatives.

According to information received, 6-year-old Inayat, daughter of Salman Khan, a resident of Akodhi, suddenly went missing from Hamraj Marriage Garden located on Kalla Road in Pukhraiya on the evening of 10 September 2026 at around 06:30 hours. The disappearance of the child created panic among the family members, who immediately informed the police about the incident.

Upon receiving the information, the Pukhraiya outpost in-charge rushed to the spot with the police force without wasting any time. The police team launched an extensive search operation under 'Operation Muskaan' in the Bhognipur police station area of the district, demonstrating alertness and swift response. The team began showing the child's photograph to local people in the marriage garden and surrounding areas, conducting thorough inquiries and carrying out an intensive search campaign at all possible locations.

Thanks to the promptness and hard work of the police, the child Inayat was safely recovered from near Hardua bridge beside the road. After completing the process of interrogation and necessary verification, the police handed over the girl to her family members. Finding their daughter safe, the family members expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Bhognipur police team for their efficient work and dedication in reuniting them with their child.
