New police chief takes over at Kotwali Dehat in Pratapgarh district

Sandeep Kumar Tiwari, who was serving as the station house officer in-charge of Maheshganj police station, took charge as the new station house officer of Kotwali Dehat on Wednesday. Upon his arrival at the police station, police personnel welcomed him with customary honours. Following the welcome ceremony, he introduced himself to his fellow police personnel and obtained detailed information about the law and order situation in the area, pending cases, and other matters related to policing operations in the jurisdiction.

Meanwhile, the outgoing station house officer of Kotwali Dehat, Pushparaj Singh, was given a respectful farewell by the police personnel following his transfer to another district. During the farewell function, Akhilesh Kumar, the officer in-charge of Prithviganj police outpost, honoured Pushparaj Singh by presenting him with a memento of Lord Ramlalla as a token of remembrance and appreciation for his service.

The newly appointed station house officer has emphasised maintaining law and order in the area and stressed the need for quick disposal of pending cases under the jurisdiction of Kotwali Dehat police station in Pratapgarh district.
