National kabaddi player Aman Solanki dies in tragic road accident

National kabaddi player and Indian Army soldier Aman Solanki tragically lost his life in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district. The 23-year-old was returning to his village, Sultanpur in Khurja, after collecting Ganga water from Haridwar when his bike collided with a vehicle carrying DJ equipment near the Mota Mahadev Temple bypass in Mandawali police station area.

The accident also left Solanki's companion, Hirdesh Tomar, injured. The news of Solanki’s untimely demise has plunged his family and village into grief. Thousands gathered in Sultanpur to pay their last respects as his mortal remains were brought home. Amid tears and patriotic songs, slogans like "Aman Fauji amar rahe, jab tak suraj chand rahega" echoed through the village.

Solanki was serving in the 15 Grenadier Regiment in Alwar, Rajasthan, and was also a national-level kabaddi player, representing India with pride. His death has left a void not just in his family but also in the sports and defense communities.

Speaking about the incident, Hirdesh Tomar, who survived the accident, expressed deep sorrow over losing his friend. BJP MLA Minakshi from Khurja also visited the family to offer condolences and support during this difficult time.

The tragic loss of a young soldier and athlete has sparked an outpouring of grief and respect from across the region, highlighting the sacrifices made by individuals like Solanki, who serve both the nation and its sports.
