Muzaffarnagar Police Arrest 2 Over Alleged Fake Ayurvedic Aphrodisiac Racket

Muzaffarnagar police have arrested two men after allegedly uncovering an unlicensed business involving the manufacture and sale of Ayurvedic aphrodisiac medicines in Imran Colony.

According to the Civil Line police station, the raid was carried out in Imran Colony on the basis of a tip-off from an informer. Police said the accused were allegedly making and selling Ayurvedic aphrodisiac medicines without a licence.

Police said the accused used fake labels and sold the medicines by presenting them as products of a major Ayurvedic company. They also allegedly promoted the products through online platforms and took orders through online channels.

During the raid, police recovered 50 boxes of Majoon, 12 bundles of wrappers of RMD Herbal company, 270 bottles, packets and boxes of different types of tablets, 1525 silicon condoms, 1820 Dragon condoms, 473 dildo with belt items, and one carton of other products.

A laptop and a computer system were also recovered from the spot, police said.

According to police, the arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Furkan, resident of Rampuri and currently living in Imran Colony, and Shahid, resident of Ghaziabad and currently living in Imran Colony.

Police said that during questioning, the accused allegedly admitted that they were preparing medicines without any degree and licence and were selling them through online channels.

Police have started further legal action against both accused. Their forward and backward links are also being investigated to find out the wider network connected to the alleged business.

The police team involved in the action included Sub-Inspector Gajendra Singh, along with police personnel Sudhir, Ankit, Brahmdev and Mohit.
