Hindu Raksha Dal has submitted a memorandum to the Senior Superintendent of Police in Muzaffarnagar, seeking action over allegedly obscene film songs and indecent dances on Ramleela stages. The organisation has asked the police administration to issue instructions to committees organising the performances.

The memorandum was submitted by the organisation’s district president, Shauki Sharma. According to the reporter’s dispatch, it raises objections to the use of film songs and dance performances that the organisation considers inappropriate for a religious event.

The organisation said Ramleela introduces audiences to the life and ideals of Lord Shri Ram. In its memorandum, it argued that objectionable performances at such events could hurt religious sentiments and confuse young children. These are the organisation’s stated concerns, not independently established findings.

The memorandum calls for strict instructions to all Ramleela committees in the district to prevent scenes involving such songs or dances on their stages. Hindu Raksha Dal has asked the administration to take the matter seriously and take appropriate action.

The reporter’s dispatch does not identify a particular committee or performance, and does not include a police response or details of action taken. The memorandum is a demand for action; it does not establish that police have issued a ban or found a violation.
