Motorcyclist critically injured after collision with nilgai on Amethi road

A young motorcycle rider sustained critical injuries after his bike collided with a nilgai that suddenly appeared on the Amethi-Sangrampur road near KD brick kiln in Sangrampur.

The victim has been identified as Arpit, 25, son of Rameshwar, a resident of Ramgarh. He was riding his motorcycle bearing registration number UP 44 V 2472 from Amethi towards Ramgarh via Sangrampur when the animal unexpectedly came onto the road.

The impact of the collision was so severe that Arpit was thrown off his motorcycle and fell onto the road, suffering serious injuries. Local residents who gathered at the accident site immediately informed the ambulance service, but when the ambulance was delayed in reaching the spot, they took the initiative to transport the injured man to Amethi Community Health Centre in a private car.

At the CHC, doctors provided initial treatment to Arpit. However, observing the seriousness of his condition, the medical staff referred him to the district hospital for advanced care. His family members rushed to the hospital as soon as they received information about the accident.
