Man dies after poisonous insect bite at cattle shed in Bulandshahr

A middle-aged man died after allegedly being bitten by a poisonous insect while sleeping at his cattle shed in Bulandshahr district. The incident occurred in Garhiya village under Agauta police station jurisdiction.

Rishipal, 54, son of Jai Singh, a resident of village Garhiya, had gone to his cattle shed on Saturday evening as usual and fell asleep on a cot there. During this time, a poisonous insect allegedly bit him in the ear.

In the late evening, Rishipal returned home from the cattle shed and told his wife that an insect had bitten him in the ear. According to family members, after eating dinner he went to sleep at home at night.

On Sunday morning, family members found Rishipal in an unconscious state. They immediately rushed him to a private doctor in Bulandshahr for treatment, where the doctor declared him dead.

After this, the family took the body to faith healers in Mohrasa village in Ahar police station area, but they also had no success. Disappointed, the family brought the body back to the village and informed the police about the incident.

Upon receiving information, Agauta police reached the spot and took possession of the body, sending it to the district hospital for post-mortem. After the post-mortem, the man's last rites were performed.

Station in-charge Sanjesh Kumar said that the actual cause of death can only be determined after the post-mortem report is received.
