Lucknow coaching center shuts down after collecting fees from 500 students

A coaching center in Lucknow's Kapurthala area has been shut down abruptly, leaving hundreds of students protesting outside the premises after the operators allegedly fled with their fees.

Galaxy Classes, which offered coaching for competitive examinations including SSC, UP Police and TET, closed its doors suddenly, triggering anger among students who had paid their fees. Students have accused the institution of taking their money and then shutting down operations while the operators absconded.

More than 500 students were enrolled at the coaching center, and each had paid an annual fee of around 15,000 rupees. Students alleged that teachers at the center had not been paid their salaries for several months.

According to the students, coaching center operator Ajay Kumar and manager Avanish Kumar have fled from the spot. A large number of students gathered outside the institution to stage a protest following the sudden closure.

Aliganj police reached the spot after receiving information and have begun investigating the entire matter.

The closure of the coaching center after collecting fees has created a major crisis for students regarding both their studies and their future.
