Kanpur Dehat police tops Uttar Pradesh in resolving public complaints timely

Kanpur Dehat police has set a new benchmark by securing first position across Uttar Pradesh in timely and quality resolution of public complaints. The district topped the state-level ranking for August 2026 in resolving complaints received through the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS).

The achievement was accomplished under the able guidance of Director General of Police (Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow) and Additional Director General of Police (Kanpur Zone) Anupam Kulshreshtha, and under the effective supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Police (Kanpur Range) Yamuna Prasad.

In a remarkable performance at the district level, 14 out of 17 police stations in Kanpur Dehat also secured first position at the state level in the station-wise ranking. The police stations that achieved first rank are Akbarpur, Rura, Gajner, Mahila Thana, Raniyan, Bhognipur, Devrahat, Satti, Derapur, Baraur, Rasulabad, Shivli, Moosanagar and Rajpur.

Public complaints received on the IGRS portal were taken seriously and their resolution was ensured within the stipulated time frame. Through this approach, Kanpur Dehat police has left a mark of its efficiency across the entire state.
