Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel administered the oath of office to Justice Shri Alpesh Yashvant Kogje as the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. Justice Shri Alpesh Yashvant Kogje took oath as the 30th Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh. The oath-taking ceremony was organized at the Sandipani auditorium of Lok Bhavan in Indore. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was also present on the occasion.
Following the oath-taking, Governor Shri Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the newly appointed Chief Justice Shri Kogje by presenting him with a bouquet and extending their best wishes.
Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal conducted the oath-taking ceremony. He read out the notification regarding the appointment of Justice Shri Alpesh Yashvant Kogje as the Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court by the President. The ceremony commenced and concluded with the singing of the national song Vande Mataram and the national anthem Jana Gana Mana.

Ahluwalia, Justice Shri Subodh Abhyankar, Justice Sandeep N. Bhatt, Justice Shri Vinay Saraf, Justice Shri Ramesh Phadke, Registrar General of Madhya Pradesh High Court Shri Dharminder Singh, Additional Chief Secretaries Dr. Shiv Shekhar Shukla and Shri Sanjay Shukla, Principal Secretary to the Governor Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari, Director General of Police Shri Kailash Makwana, legislators, Members of Parliament, judges of the High Courts of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh states, senior administrative and judicial officers, advocates, and office bearers of commissions.
